This new site not only involves a new image on the Internet.
With the aim of being accessible from any part of the world, EPM Gas Technology® is opening the way to the international market, being present so far in European and American markets.
The new CNG station owned by the UNAUTO company has now been opened
On October 9 the Rt. Hon. Mayor of Toledo, Emiliano García, unveiled the ten IRISBUS CASTROSUA CS-40 City Versus model buses powered by compressed natural gas (CNG), as well as the gas compression and supply plant at the base owned by UNAUTO on the Toledo industrial estate, and presented by the transport service concessionary company in the city.
The event was attended by numerous well-known personalities, including the Town Councillor for Traffic and Mobility, Rafael Perezagua, the Castilla-La Mancha Regional Minister for the Environment, Paula Fernández, the company chairman Gregorio Ruiz and his general manager Alberto Egido.
Since they are powered by the CNG fuel supply system, each of the buses are equipped with eight 162-litre canisters, made of carbon fibre strengthened steel and located on the vehicle roof. The compression station is formed by a measuring module, compression equipment, a CNG supply module and ten filling positions.
All of these new items (buses and gas compression plant) have meant an investment of more than €3,150,000.00. UNAUTO is in this way supporting Toledo, contributing to improve mobility with the latest generation of accessible, comfortable and low pollution buses, thereby favouring environmental sustenance in our city.
